It’s Not Enough to Dream

A good man dreams, a great man acts.

It’s easy to dream, trust me I know. But it’s not enough to dream, because dreams never saved or changed the world, only actions. So by all means dream, but fulfill your dreams. Go out and accomplish great things. With vision one man can change the world if  he acts upon his vision.

Christ didn’t call us to plan, he’s already done that, he called us to act upon his plans. There are enough Christians that are telling  the world what needs to be done. It’s time a new generation rises to follow what has already been laid out.

Is it wise to plan and dream? Yes.

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 29:18

But that’s not all there is to accomplishing great things.

We all expect great things from God, but do we do great things for him? God knows our every need. So why, may I ask, are we sitting around waiting for him to answer our prayers when we could be changing the world?

We ask him for money to start a ministry but we don’t use the money we do have.

In “The God’s Smuggler” he gives up smoking so that he can buy the books he needs. Than later he sells those books to help pay for something else, getting closer to the Kingdom.

In each of those incidences he sacrificed, and God provided.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

“And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.” Luke 17:14

It is when we act upon the will of God that we fulfill the will of God, not before.

How do you expect to finish a race you have not started?

It is so easy to dream, but God did not call us to an easy life, he called us to a hard, set a part life.

“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few therebe that find it.” Matthew 7:14

The top can only be achieved by those who are willing to start at the bottom.
